Players control the actions of the title pair of plumbers and two toads, trying to safely defeat the boards, abundant in enemies and traps of all kinds. Multiplayer gameplay combines elements of competition and cooperation.

The Conduit is a first-person shootout by High Voltage Software, prepared with the technical capabilities of the Nintendo Wii console in mind. Action of the game presents an alternative version of the story. At the turn of the twentieth and twenty-first century, strangers reach the Earth. The player takes on the role of Ford's agent and his task is to repel the invasion of newcomers from the Cosmos.

The hero does not have to worry about gravity because of his condition, but too sunny places are already a serious problem for him. The lack of bodily shell makes only shadows cast by the surrounding world of various buildings or platforms can be useful for the above.
