Who Wants to Be a Millionaire for Nintendo DS is a pocket edition of a relatively popular series of products. Previous editions of this cycle were released on PC or Sony consoles, among others. Of course, we are dealing here with an electronic version of one of the most recognizable television programmes, to Polish viewers known as "Millionaires". The general rules of the game are very similar to teletournament. Answering the next questions we are getting closer to the main prize.

Like previous editions of the game, Who Wants to Be a Millionaire on DS is based on the British version of the title teletournament. This means a number of important changes. The leader is Chris Tarrant and the main prize is L1 million. In order to win it, you must first of all qualify for the tournament. The DS version differs slightly from its predecessors. The first stage of the teletournament is completely overcome with the use of a touch screen, properly matching the correct answers. The style is also used in the rest of the game, but then the rush is no longer advisable.

The main prize is divided by 15 questions, to which we have to answer in a strict order. Questions are drawn from a pool of about 1000 items. They concern many areas of life - music, film, sport or general knowledge. Four answers are assigned to each question, and our task is to choose the correct one. In this edition there were of course three hints known from a real tele-tournament. We are talking about the elimination of two incorrect variants, a phone call to a friend and a question to the audience.

We can play alone or invite friends to the game. In the latter case, the option of wireless communication is naturally used. Graphically, the DS version is relatively average. The game is most reminiscent of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire: Party Edition, released on a PSP console. The action is observed from the perspective of the leader. We are located inside the well known show studio. There was also a music setting typical for a real tele-tournament.
