White Day

Action adventure game realized in horror convention, containing a number of elements known from such famous survival-horrors as: Silent Hill, Resident Evil or Parasite Eve. The action of the game is set in a haunted school, and the main character is an average teenager. At night with a box of chocolates he sneaked into school, wishing to surprise his girlfriend on St. Valentine's Day (White Day is the Korean equivalent of this holiday). However, a moment after he saw a janitor killing a man with a baseball stick accompanied by demonic children's laughs, he realized that the place where he found himself had been possessed by unclean forces. His former colleagues and school staff took the form of terrifying demons.

The action of the game is shown from the perspective of the first person. Just like in the popular FPS, the player can explore new locations to their heart's content. It shall not be limited by any invisible barriers. One of the biggest curiosities is to deprive the game of fights. A controlled teenager does not have the slightest chance of facing ghosts or even demon-possessed people. He has two choices: to sneak in or try to avoid them, moving to different, often quite unusual moves. Starting the game he has a box of chocolates he wanted to give to his girlfriend, but later in the game he will find a lot of other items. Some of them will use to divert the attention of certain beings, others to get to the next part of the school. The story is non-linear, after reaching specific places the player can choose what they want to do (options are mutually exclusive). The authors took care of the presence of many interesting riddles. Their level of difficulty is set in the game options, and they themselves are quite varied. For example, you need to take care of disabling the school alarm system or breaking a code leading to some very important room. There will also be no without saving the imprisoned students who have not yet been possessed by the demons that have been ravaged after school, including the hero's chosen heart.

The authors of the game have also prepared an extensive multiplayer mode. What's interesting, players can play not only terrified teenagers, but also ghosts, demons or other monsters of their choice.
