Wheel of Fortune Description
Developed by Softie and published in 1987 by ShareData, a computer adaptation of the once popular "Wheel of Fortune" tele-tournament in Poland.
Three players can compete. If there are no players in the vicinity, the computer takes over the role of the other players. The game is divided into three rounds (and one bonus round), in which the participants spin the wheel one by one. If, after drawing a field other than Bankrupt or Loss of the Queue, we correctly point to a letter on the board, we get a certain amount of cash, multiplied by the number of letters that we hit. With a small amount of money in stock, we can also buy vowels, which make it much easier to guess the whole password. After three rounds, the player with the highest pot automatically moves to the final, where he or she can significantly increase his or her possessions.
As befits 1987, the game does not impress with its audiovisual setting, but it is not completely tragic either. The creators of the programme deserve special praise for the introduction of the girl revealing the letters on the board, which, as we know, is an inseparable element of every edition of "Wheel of Fortune". A large number of passwords and the ability to play with several people certainly enhance the advantages of this program.
