What Never Was is a first-person adventure game that takes place in modern times. The story presented in this production is inspired by Nordic myths and the work of the horror master H.P. Lovecraft, which is often adapted into video games. Acke Hallgren, a former employee of Avalanche Studios, is responsible for developing this production. What Never Was is the first title to be created under his leadership (but it is not an independent project - other people were also involved in its creation).
