Weapon Shop de Omasse is a humorous production that draws strong inspirations from the jRPG genre, but does not entirely belong to it. We play the role of a young blacksmith, who supplies the heroes setting out to save the world with weapons. Our task is to forge the weapon by rhythmically pressing appropriate keys - the more efficiently we go, the better products we create and the greater chance for success we give to heroses.
Groove along to the beats of the hammer falls, tapping your Nintendo 3DS Touch Screen to the rhythm in order to forge your shop's weapons. The higher your CHAIN, the stronger and sharper the weapon will turn out! Any blacksmith worth his steel also knows that you have to strike while the iron is hot! Make sure to watch the weapon's temperature, which will affect its critical hit rate, durability, and special properties!
These aren't your average clients! A colorful cast of zany, misfit heroes will become regulars at your store, and it's up to you to give them the weapons they need to complete their personal quests. From the up-and-coming hero, Friedel Schlintz, to the notorious lady pirate, Captain Malibu, you'll have no shortage of demand!
After you rent out the weapon, you can follow their individual sagas on the Grindcast, the aptly named stream of their encounters, battles, and drama!
Aiding your customers in their quests will yield materials that can be used to give weapons special properties, from elemental attributes to status effects. Keep your weapons polished to give them stat bonuses, and try to keep a healthy stock on hand for any NPCs that might come wandering in!
But if your heroes fail the quest, the weapon you've put so much work into will be lost. The return of the dreaded Evil Lord is nigh, so keep an eye out for fiends that may cross your clients' path!
