Watch Over Christmas is a Christmas-themed point-and-click adventure game, developed by an indie studio Dionous Games.
Plot
The protagonist of Watch Over Christmas is the twelve-year-old Cisco. On Christmas Eve, he's visited by a mysterious guest who lets him know Santa's been kidnapped, and Cisco is the only one who can save Christmas. Cisco sets out on a journey to rescue Santa Claus - though he has but one night to do so.
Mechanics
Watch Over Christmas revolves around puzzle-solving and exploring various areas. To save Christmas, Cisco must interact with the environment, find specific items and use them correctly. Puzzles can be pretty difficult, but the developers did their best to make every solution logical. The player will also get to meet various characters, learning what's happened to Santa and how to save him.
Technical aspects
Watch Over Christmas features hand-drawn, colorful 2D visuals. All the dialogue's fully voiced, which is unusual for an indie adventure game.
