WarriOrb is a three-dimensional classic-style arcade game, primarily focused on platform elements and fighting enemies. The Romanian-Hungarian independent studio Not Yet is responsible for it, for which it is the debut title.
Plot
WarriOrb tells the story of a mighty demon that has been trapped in a small, very unusual body consisting of a talking black ball with legs and horns. The hero tries to regain his former incarnation and freedom. The demon is also guilty of an outstandingly unsuccessful summoning spell to bring back to life the sorcerer's daughter, and now another way must be found to resurrect her.
The plot of the game shows the tragic fate and desperation of the demon in a humorous way.
Mechanics
WarriOrb is a classic platformer with RPG elements, in which we travel through darker locations, overcoming more obstacles and getting rid of enemies such as demons, giants, mutants and other magical beings. During the game it also happens to talk to the characters you meet to help you achieve your goal.
Platform elements require monkey skill from the player, and between them and the fights there are also puzzles requiring logical thinking.
Technical aspects
The graphics in WarriOrb are fully three-dimensional and the game looks very decent on this side. During the game we visit dark locations, which contrast with the comic story and the unique, funny appearance of the main character.
