Warpips

Warpips is a real-time war strategy. Game was developed by Skirmish Mode Games studio.

Game mechanics

It combines elements of RTS and tower defense genres. The game comes down to battles of two armies. Each of them starts on the opposite end of the map and the game goes on until the command center of one of the sides is destroyed.

While playing Warpips the player does not command units directly. Instead, he only selects them for his army, and after their materialization on the map, the artificial intelligence takes control over them. The AI is quite complex; it doesn't push soldiers and vehicles mindlessly towards the enemy and is able to use the terrain (e.g. for cover from gunfire) and properly select the targets of attacks and effectively defend against them.
