WarioWare: Move It! is an arcade party mini-game compilation developed for the Nintendo Switch. It's the next installment in a series starring Wario, Mario's greedy cousin, and the direct sequel to 2021's WarioWare: Get It Together!. It was co-develoepd by Intelligent Systems and Nintendo.

Plot

The game is set outside Diamond City - swayed by advertisements, Wario takes his employees to the Barrio Morro islands, where many challenges await.

Mechanics

WarioWare: Move It! makes good use of the Joy-Con controllers, especially their motion sensors. The game consists of over 200 different micro-games, requiring reaction speed and memorization. Each micro-game requires the player to make specific movements or strike a correct pose.

The micro-games in WarioWare: Move It! range from unclogging toilets, fishing, skiing, beating punching bags and many others. Completing them rewards us with points, and the more we get, the higher up the leaderboard we climb. There are also multiple playable characters, all with unique abilities.

Game modes

WarioWare: Move It! supports solo play and multiplayer for up to four players, both during story mode and party mode.

Technical aspects

Just like in previous installments, each micro-game in WarioWare: Move It! has an entirely unique artstyle, ranging from simple illustrations to elaborate animations.
