Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Prophecy Description
Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Prophecy is a stand-alone expansion to the action RPG Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Martyr. Add-on was developed by the authors of the base game, i.e the NeocoreGames studio; it is a team known for creating the well-received The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing series.
Plot
Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Prophecy revolves around its story campaign comprising three chapters, one of which is dedicated exclusively to the new hero, the representative of the Tech-Adept class. The story is connected with the plot featured in the base game, and it will is bound to satisfy both those who played the base game and new players.
Mechanics
Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Prophecy is based on the solutions introduced by the base game as part of Update 2.0; it raises the character level cap, improves the performance of systems responsible for generating loot and gaining experience points, improves the end-game phase, and makes the game more dynamic than before the release of the update.
The Tech-Adept introduced in this add-on differs from other specialties by its ability to summon allied units to the battlefield and improve their combat potential. In addition, in this expansion, the authors allow players to visit new locations, such as the desert full of dangers or the volcanic world sinking in lava. The list of novelties is closed by unseen opponents, i.e. Eldar and Tyranids.
Technical aspects
Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Prophecy is a stand-alone expansion, so it does not require the base game to work. Add-on does not change the overall audiovisual layer.
