Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun is a retro-style first-person shooter set in the science fiction universe. The game was developed by the indie studio Auroch Digital, which has created several different titles, including the brewing simulator Brewmaster and the economic strategy Mars Horizon.
Plot
We play as a veteran Space Marine in the service of the Emperor. We travel across the galaxy fighting demons and Space Marines of chaos.
Game mechanics
The gameplay of Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun is very dynamic - we have to run, jump and charge, almost constantly facing hordes of enemies. Despite the title, the Boltgun, which tears enemies to shreds, is not the only weapon in the game - we have a large, gradually unlocked arsenal of Space Marine at our disposal.
Technical aspects
The style of the game refers to classic bloody shooters from the 1990s, but the gameplay is characterized by modern dynamics and fluidity, driven by the Unreal Engine.
