Self-contained expansion of the RTS war strategy. We play the role of the Russian commander, participating in a ten-day armed conflict with American troops and rebels in Tajikistan.

Warfare: Reloaded is a self-contained extension of a real-time strategy that takes us into the realities of today's fictitious armed conflict that takes place in the Middle East. The creators of the original, associated under the wings of the Russian studio GFI Russia, are responsible for its creation.

The action takes place several months after the events known from the first part of the game. The global financial crisis has forced most governments to withdraw coalition troops from Iraq and Afghanistan, leaving the task of maintaining order in the region in the hands of the US. In an effort to avoid an escalation of tension, the White House entered into negotiations with the Taliban and made certain concessions which, in exchange for the suspension of hostilities, opened up the possibility of mass cultivation and smuggling of drugs through Tajikistan on Russian territory. In view of the growing problem and the lack of resources to fight terrorists, the Tajik Government has therefore turned to the Kremlin for assistance. In fear of a real threat to his country's interests, the Russian president approved an armed intervention, which turned out to be the cause of a ten-day war between Russia and the USA.

In Warfare: Reloaded we play the role of the Russian commander, who will have to face American troops and rebels during the 12th campaign mission. As in the basic game, we begin by commanding a small troop of soldiers to gain access to more troops, better vehicles and weapons as we progress and carry out more missions.

The game is basically nothing more than a set of additional missions. The fact that in this version we lead other parties to the conflict and use mainly the Russian arsenal, rather than the American one, should be considered as a plus. From the technical point of view, there are very few changes compared to Warfare. The battles are being fought on more mountainous terrain than before, but building and vehicle models have remained unchanged. Among the new weapons, however, there are heavy weaponry that was previously unavailable, such as grenade launchers, mortars, rocket launchers or machine guns, which increases the importance and impact power of infantry.
