Continuation of the RTS in fantasy climates, telling the story of the Great War on the planet Yavaun. In the second part of the game, new forces of earthly marines and scientists join the already known races concentrated in two opposing camps. Production puts slightly more emphasis on research and technology development.

War Wind II: Human Onslaught is a sequel to a real-time fantasy strategy about a conflict between four opposing races on the planet Yavaun. The continuation of the game is the work of the same duo of producers and publishers, i.e. DreamForge studio and SSI company.

The action of the game takes place after the events known from the first part and presents the further fate of the Great War. The Eaggra breed, who manages to liberate herself from Tha'Roon rule, forms an alliance with Shama'Li mystics called S.U.N. (Servants Under Naga'Rom), whose aim is to put an end to the tyranny that until recently ruled the nation inextricably. However, the situation is complicated by the fact that Tha'Roon once again manages to enslave the powerful and warlike Obblinoxes. Meanwhile, unexpected guests appear on Yavaun in the form of a scientific-military expedition of the Earth's inhabitants. Involving people in a foreign conflict results in the emergence of two hostile camps: those seeking to colonize the planet marines and those wishing to return to Earth scientists.
