Walk With Me! (or Personal Trainer: Walking)is an unusual application that monitors running, walking and other physical activity of this type. Creatures Inc. studio, known from Pokémon Ranger: Shadows of Almia, is responsible for developing this idea. The publisher is Nintendo.
Walk With Me! is a product that supports walking and running activities. The program allows you to monitor up to four users, showing a variety of charts, statistics, statements, rankings and many other forms of data presentation. In addition, the application allows you to set your own goals, thus motivating you to achieve them.
Together with the game we get two wireless measuring devices called Pedometers (also known as Crocometers). Of course, they allow to calculate the number of steps taken by a given person and provide data for the application. The title uses Mii avatars to present the progress of individual users - we can move them from the Wii console or create them directly in the game.
In addition to the above elements, the creators have also prepared several mini-games to unlock. You can share your personal results with other users on your network via Wi-Fi connection. In this way we can add our few pennies, or rather steps, to the general rankings and the system counting the kilometres purchased by the users. They were presented in the form of a virtual route leading through the solar system.
The audiovisual setting of the programme is quite simple, but it is therefore clear. First of all, we watch colorful charts indicating our progress, watches measuring the time of walking, or even a calendar showing our everyday activities. You can also create your own avatar by choosing from a number of options available.
