A sports game simulating table tennis, developed by an independent studio called Reddoll Games. The game has been designed for Virtual Reality headgear and motion controllers – by using the latter ones, the players can control the paddle hovering in the air and hit the incoming balls. The standard rules of table tennis are slightly modified within several optional game modes in VR Ping Pong.

VR Ping Pong for PS4 and PC is a sports game simulating table tennis, designed for Virtual Reality headgear owners. The game has been developed by the independent Reddoll Games specializing in games for Virtual Reality. Previously, the studio has been working on Stealth Labyrinth released in 2016 on PC, which allowed players to explore a 3D labyrinth and fight robots inside it. The game described herein works only with PlayStation VR. The game supports also PlayStation Move motion controllers.

Mechanics

In VR Ping Pong for PS4 and PC, players observe the action from the first-person perspective and control the paddle hovering in mid-air trying to hit the incoming balls. The game is based on regular table tennis rules; however, they can be modified within optional game modes. Matches take place on closed arenas surrounded by tribunes.
