Vladik Brutal Description
Vladik Brutal is a dynamic and bloody FPS set in a dystopian world. The game was developed by the independent, one-person studio Narko Games, in whose portfolio we can find the game V.L.A.D.i.K. released in 2019, which is similar in genre and theme.
Plot
Vladik Brutal takes us to a fictional country in Eastern Europe, where a ruthless dictator has been ruling for years. The leader subordinated the society to himself, organizing assassinations of his opponents, implanting tracking chips in citizens, and also assigning them numbers and special clothes. To make matters worse, the leader built a research center where he conducts experiments on his prisoners. During the game, we play the role of a daredevil who decides to declare war on the self-proclaimed ruler and his forces.
Gameplay
In Vladik Brutal we watch the action from the first-person perspective (FPP). A brutal adventure leads us through various places - from overgrown streets and post-Soviet buildings, through industrial and research complexes, ending in the darkness-shrouded underground. While traveling through these locations, we complete the quests set before us and eliminate hordes of enemies. Additionally, the gameplay is enriched by puzzles and secrets.
The game provides us with a wide range of firearms, including not only a pistol, shotgun or assault rifle, but also more inventive murder tools, including a rocket launcher. With their help, we get rid of hostile people, vehicles and combat machines (like a helicopter) or mutated creatures - from smaller, zombie-like monsters to much larger creatures that act as bosses.
Engine
Vladik Brutal uses the proprietary Narko Engine, which is a modified version of Unreal Engine technology.
