Railroad.exe is a game created for enthusiasts of miniature railway models. It allows you to design and then build a comprehensive railway system, meaning everything from the terrain (mountains, valleys, rivers, etc.), the location of different elements of the environment (more than 300 objects that can be added: houses, bridges, roads, factories, trees, etc.), to the final layout of railway routes, passenger stations, transshipment stations, warehouses, railway tunnels, bridges, or a whole system of semaphores and lights that controls the movement of trains. Other means of transport linked to rail, such as cars, trams or sea and river shipping, are also included in this title.
The entire design process is presented by means of a three-dimensional graphic engine. After arranging everything as we planned, we can set the whole machine in motion and watch how trains run, how goods at the stations are reloaded onto trucks, etc., etc. In order to be able to use this machine, it is necessary to make sure that it is in the right place. Naturally, nothing stands in the way of interfering in what is happening, driving trains on its own or operating barriers at railway crossings. In Railroad.exe, a whole range of steam locomotives, diesel and electric locomotives, as well as passenger and freight wagons are available to the player.
