Vincere Totus Astrum is a proposal of the independent studio Gamesare addressed to fans of space strategies type 4X. The game was originally released for smartphones and tablets running the iOS operating system, but over time developers have also been tempted to prepare a port for PCs.

The action of the game takes place in the distant future. Humanity has managed to develop technologies for interstellar travel. However, it turned out that there are also other intelligent races in the Cosmos with advanced technology. Between people, reticulants, harpoons, dev'ornas and scarabs a bloody war of domination in the Universe broke out. The player takes on the role of the leader of one of the parties to the conflict and tries to tip the scales of victory to his advantage.

Game mechanics is based on solutions typical for 4X strategy. The player's task is to explore the game world, exploit available resources, economically expand their empire, develop technology, recruit and move units (including spatial tunnels) and fight enemies. The latter, however, is limited to passive tracking of events on the screen.

The production was directed to the casual market. As a result, the creators took care of an intuitively simple control system. The player makes decisions by selecting the appropriate options from the drop-down menu. Less experienced strategists can also use the enclosed guide.

Visual binding Vincere Totus Astrum clearly indicates the smartphone pedigree of the game. Developers used two-dimensional graphics with uncomplicated animations. The whole aesthetic experience is complemented by a subdued soundtrack.
