Summoner is a fantasy cRPG game created by Volition studio. The player directs Joseph's actions, marked by a summoner's magic legacy, who is the only one who can oppose the evil coming from the Orenia Empire. The creators envisaged several variants of the game, including multiplayer mode for up to 4 people.

Summoner was released for the PlayStation(r)2 on October 27, 2000. The PC version was released on March 21, 2001. The Mac was released in Spring of 2001.
