"VATAN" is an action/FPS game created entirely by the debuting FySoftware group. The main axis of the game is a broadly understood action (presented from the perspective of the first person), however, an equally important link is the plot. The game takes us into a distant future where human civilization, having made significant progress, has started a successive colonization of foreign planets and galaxies. However, the internal conflict of interest contributed to the outbreak of the civil war. The user's task is to play the role of one of the Republican soldiers and to fight battles with fiercely fighting, rebellious partisan troops. Naturally, over the course of the action, we get to know the backstage of the conflict in which we participate, which makes our point of view on the case of Rebelia vs. Republika undergoes a radical change.
The player, passing through the successive levels of the game, visits very diverse locations, including alien planets, big, futuristic cities and vast, open and deserted spaces. Both sides of the conflict, the republican and guerrilla forces, have been equipped with a number of characteristic tools for the merciless extermination of the enemy. A standard "A-Eagle 1" pistol and the flagship sniper weapon of the legionnaires, "ASW-1", are at the player's disposal.
A powerful engine ("Newton Game Dynamics") was used in the production of "VATAN", thanks to which the game has a realistic physical model. Also, the behavior of the enemy does not arouse much reservations, and this in turn is due to a decent level of Artificial Intelligence.
