Vampires vs. Zombie is a time management strategy and arcade game. (time management), produced by Alawar Entertainment. The player directs the actions of vampires who want to confront the crazy dictator and his zombie army. The creators have prepared more than 80 charts on which they should demonstrate their ability to plan and coordinate actions and be quite reflexive.
Vampires versus Zombie is the work of the development team of Alawar Entertainment, a company specializing in the production of games for the so-called casual. The intention of the creators was to combine Farm Frenzy style gameplay with a comedy horror.
The plot of the game depicts the struggle with South African dictator Boombata, who plans to take control of the world through his army of mindless zombies. However, it is not in the interest of bloodthirsty people to turn all people into living corpses. Count Dracula and his vampires decide to fight.
In the course of the game, the player in charge of the bloodsucker's actions has to face the zombie invasion on 83 levels, of which 75 are stages in time and the rest are arcade tests. The struggle takes place in 5 scenes.
The game consists primarily in proper planning of activities and the quickest possible reaction. The player has seven types of vampires at his disposal. Some of them support production, thanks to which it is possible to raise funds to hire bodyguards and purchase new, more efficient machines. There are also a number of combinations of products (pumpkins, elixirs, etc.) with higher profits.
Technically, the game Vampires vs. Zombie replicates the solutions previously used in the Farm Frenzy series. Two-dimensional graphics are maintained in a cartoon convention. Humorous interludes in the form of short animated films add colour to the fun.
