Vampire Saga: Beginning is the third installment of a series of casual adventures in a horror climate. Players once again move to the deserted town of Hell Lock, where they try to solve the mystery of a mysterious plague that has turned residents into bloodthirsty beasts. Alawar developers have used the proven gameplay mechanisms to create a solid dose of hidden object puzzles and mini-game puzzles.

Fashion for vampires encouraged Alawar Entertainment to continue the Vampire Saga cycle. Like previous games in the series, the Vampire Saga: Beginning is a casual adventure with HOG (Hidden Objects Game) elements and logical mini-games.

The action was resettled in the town of Hell Lock (actually Hill Lock). The player directs the mourning after the death of the daughter of the doctor, who is summoned to a remote town to explain a series of mysterious deaths. Having arrived at the place, the hero discovers that the city has almost completely deserted, and the reason for this state of affairs is a mysterious puzzle that turns people into red-eyed, bloodthirsty beasts.

The plot of the game loosely refers to the threads of earlier editions of the cycle. Converging points are, among others, the place of action, the figure of the sheriff and the motif of struggle with vampires. Players can visit both well-known and completely new places.
