Valnir Rok is an online action game by Encurio. The production was inspired by Norse mythology and you play as a shipwrecked Viking, who finds themselves on a mysterious island full of ruins, mysteries, and monsters. Plot
The game is set in a fantasy world based on the Norse mythology. You play as a shipwrecked Viking, who find themselves on the shore of the mysterious Valnir Island. You start out half-naked and exhausted, and your task is first and foremost to survive.
Valnir Rok focuses on the multiplayer mode, and so it does not have an expansive plot. However, you have many chances to discover more information about the in-game world.
Mechanics
Valnir Rok is a multiplayer survival game, in which large groups of players play on one server. The game world is fully open and you alone decide which challenges to complete and how to do it.
Like in most such game, you gather resources, craft items, and create buildings. You also often have to fight; the combat system is arcade-like and allows you to use various attacks and weapons. An important part of the gameplay are the gods, whose favor you can gain by offering sacrifices on their altars.
The island itself is full of wild areas, abandoned villages, ruins, and expansive underground complexes. There are many quests to complete, in which you face various AI-controlled enemies. A key aspect is also interaction with other players. You can battle each other or join clans, which fight for land. There is also an option to offer a bounty for someone's head.
