V-Rally 2 Expert Edition PC

V-Rally 2 Expert Edition is the name of the PC version of the game, which had the title of V-Rally 2 Championship Edition on the PlayStation. Compared to the original, ten new cars have been added, among others. In the United States it was published under the title Test Drive V-Rally.

As in the first part, players take part in licensed World Rally Championship competitions. In the championship mode we compete in eighty special sections trying to achieve the best time on winding roads prepared by the organizers of the competition. Locations located in twelve of the fourteen countries listed in the 1999 calendar have been made available to the competitors. Therefore, we can race in Argentina, Finland, Italy and Portugal, among others. Two missing rallies took place in Greece and Kenya.

In the PC version, the creators prepared twenty-six machines. In addition to the main rally class including Peugeot 206 and Ford Focus, the lower 2.0L and 1.6L series have also been added. As in the previous edition of the series, the V-Rally 2 game features bonus unlockable cars, including Renault Alpine and Audi Quattro.

In addition to the main championship mode, the game also offers time trial and arcade competitions. Multiplayer mode allows a maximum of four players to compete with each other. For those who are not satisfied with the special sections prepared by the creators, there is an intuitive route editor that allows you to create your own stages.

Compared to the first edition of the series published in 1999, the game's graphic design has been significantly improved, thanks to which the lighting effects are better presented depending on the time of day - rallies take place during the day, at dusk or at night.
