Action adventure game with RPG elements. In Unsighted we find ourselves in a cyberpunk metropolis which we travel as an android named Alma. The heroine tries to save the remaining automatons from the doom that awaits them when the energy called Anima runs out.
Unsighted is an action adventure game with RPG elements. The game was developed by an independent Brazilian team Studio Pixel Punk, and its release was handled by Humble Games.
Unsighted takes us on a journey to cyberpunk city called Arcadia. As a result of a war between humans and androids, the once vibrant metropolis has fallen into ruin. To make matters worse, the supply of Anima, the energy that provides consciousness to automatons, is dwindling at an alarming rate.
The main heroine of the game is an android named Alma. Her task is to save her fellow players from the inevitable doom of becoming the 'unsighted' - machines devoid of sensitivity and self-awareness. Along the way, the protagonist must also take care of herself in order not to meet this terrible fate. How her adventure will go, and what future she will win for all the androids, depends on her actions and decisions.
In Unsighted the action was shown from a top-down view. Game gives us a vast metropolis, which was divided into smaller locations. Each level is connected to one another, but we gain access to many of them only after unlocking a specific skill or obtaining a particular piece of equipment. It's worth remembering that there is more than one way to reach each goal, so if a specific path seems too difficult or complicated, it's worth looking around for alternatives.
The driving force behind the game are the tasks we complete as we travel through Arcadia. Enemies, whom we eliminate with the help of an extensive arsenal, disturb us in completing the missions. During dynamic fights we use both cold weapons, such as swords or shurikens, and firearms, such as machine guns or shotguns. Skirmishes are dynamic and we have to be in constant motion during them. In addition to the large amount of "cannon fodder", on our way there are bosses, which are much more challenging.
An important role in the game is played by Anima, whose supply dwindles in real time both for Alma and for other androids. This makes it possible for a particular character to become 'unsighted' even before we visit him, which will affect the course of the story and its ending. Alma can increase her Anima resource by helping other androids or sucking it from their bodies.
As we progress, we not only acquire new weapons of murder, but also develop the protagonist with the help of various chips, which we find or craft ourselves. They provide Alma with new skills and useful bonuses. Moreover, on our way we gain useful gadgets, which give us new possibilities both in the fight and during the exploration (like the rope with a hook for easier platform sequences).
Apart from the story mode, Unsighted contains two additional modes, Boss Rush and Dungeon Raid. The game allows you to play solo or in cooperative mode.
Unsighted has colorful, manga-like graphics made with pixel art technique.

Game Ratings for Unsighted Video Game.
Nindie Spotlight: 9 / 10 by Justin Nation
Unsighted is interesting to me, in part because at just a casual glance, or even just a very short play session, I believe people will severely underestimate its ambition and execution...
Nintendo Life: 9 / 10 by Roland Ingram
Unsighted combines some very familiar ideas: it's a top-down, roguelite, sci-fi Metroidvania with a strong 16-bit aesthetic. Its time-is-ticking, post-apocalyptic scenario is brought to life by the enchanting palettes of its pixel art, making a world you want to explore, full of characters you want to know. Far from punishing, it leans more on the 'lite' than the 'rogue', letting fun prevail – as it will, thanks to the addictive rhythm of the controls, backed by punchy sounds. The cooperative multiplayer is icing on top of an already well-iced cake. Combining flavours of Super Nintendo classics with modern playability, Unsighted is the game 1995 desperately wanted to make but just didn't know how.
RPG Site: 8 / 10 by Adam Vitale
A pixel-art Metroidvania-like action game that looks great, and plays well, but has a few odd design components.
