An espionage VR Experience action game developed by the independent studio Triangular Pixels as a tech demo for the purposes of GameCity 2015. In time, the production evolved into a full-fledged commercial product for VR headsets. In Unseen Diplomacy, we assume the role of a secret British operative and, seeing the world from the protagonist’s eyes, perform subsequent missions with the aim of thwarting the plans of power-hungry criminals.
March of Empires is an online MMO strategy game for PC-powered devices in which we lead one of three factions and try to forge an powerful empire. The title was created by one of the most experienced and acclaimed mobile game developers, the French company Gameloft.
Mechanics
Starting out, we assume the role of a king, tsar, or sultan, and the choice has a quite big influence on the further course of the game and our initial parameters. In its general premise, the title doesn’t significantly deviate from other mobile MMO strategy games, and the player’s tasks are: incessant development of infrastructure, researching new technologies, raising a powerful army, and conquering other players’ territory. March of Empires offers a big world that can be freely explored as we please.
Gameloft’s production is characterized by significantly more developed plot and gameplay depth that is influenced by a myriad of varied factors (such as weather and seasons). For example, in winter, when our workers don’t work in the field, we receive a bonus to our ongoing scientific researches. The tactical layer is much more extensive, as well. In battles against other players, we can apply several formations, each having its pros and cons in confrontation with enemy forces.
Technical aspects
As befits an MMO game, March of Empires for PC offers a number of incredibly extensive social options. The players can form alliances and thanks to functional communication means, it is relatively easy to manage even very large group. Every alliance can choose its leaders that make decisions concerning the entire community. The colorful and visually attractive graphics which isn’t significantly worse than similar productions for PC is undoubtedly a highlight of the game.
