Unity of Command: Black Turn - Operation Barbarossa 1941 is an addition to the turn-based strategy game Unity of Command: Stalingrad Campaign. The Croatian studio 2x2 Games is responsible for its production, as well as for creating the basic version of the game.

Enlargement takes us into the reality of the Third Reich's aggression on the territory of the USSR, which took place between 22 June and 5 December 1941 and is commonly known under the code name "Operation Barbarossa". The supplement contains thirteen different scenarios, allowing us to take command of both German troops and the defending Red Army.

The game, similarly to the basic version of the game, is played in turn-based system, and war realities are recreated according to historical facts. In addition to technological and numerical superiority, the right attack tactics and the ability to use and adapt to the dynamically changing war conditions are also important on the battlefield.

The production contains a number of faithfully reproduced machines and combat units, each of which can boast real statistics and performance consistent with the collected data from the history of militaries. In addition, there are also units from Romania, Hungary, Finland, Italy and Slovakia participating in the invasion of the USSR.
