Undead Realm: Ego

Undead Realm: Ego is a horror film made in FMV technique (which makes it an interactive movie, so to speak). The production was developed by independent Chinese studio Mystery Crown and is its third (after Try and Love and Back) project made in this way.

The plot

In Undead Realm: Ego we find ourselves in one of China's abandoned schools. During the gameplay, we play as Rena Xing, who wakes up in this place in the company of several girls. From now on, the goal of the protagonist and his new girlfriends becomes to escape from this place. Along the way they will have to learn about the history of the place, as well as meet face to face with the dangers lurking here, through which their survival becomes questionable.

Gameplay

In Undead Realm: Ego, we watch the action from a first-person perspective (FPP). As we play, we watch the protagonist and his new acquaintances make their way through the school. Along the way, our protégé and his companions try not only to survive successive close encounters with the dark force that has taken over the place, but also to explore its history and find an escape route. The gameplay is varied by the necessity to make decisions that affect the course of the story and its ending.
