A special version of the scrolled shooter in science fiction climates, published in 1995. We control a small spacecraft and shoot down enemy units arriving from above the screen. During the campaign mode, we improve our equipment by making purchases for credits gained during the mission. Compared to the original, a new chapter has been added, the available fleet has been diversified and numerous errors have been corrected.

Tyrian 2000 is the resumption of the classic two-dimensional production straight from vending machines published in 1995 under the title Tyrian. This includes the control of a spacecraft and the task of surviving a wave of enemies arriving from the edge of the screen and then defeating the exceptionally strong boss at the end of each stage. As the game progresses, we get access to a more and more substantial arsenal and discover more and more fragments of the presented story.

For the purpose of this edition, the authors have prepared a new content, including an additional, fifth chapter entitled Hazudra Fodder. Thanks to him we can learn more about the story presented in the original. The game was also enriched with new spacecraft available in the store and Timed Battle fun mode. We choose one of the three stages (Deliani, Space Station or Savara) and get a certain amount of time to complete the whole level. At the end, points are calculated based on the number of enemies defeated, saved lives and speed. Great importance was also attached to removing any errors known from the original.
