Twisted Metal 2 is part of a cult series that debuted on the PlayStation in 1995. The game is a car shooting game in which we play as one of the tournament participants, competing to death and life against other opponents.

Twisted Metal 2: The World Tour is a continuation of the original published in 1995 for Sony PlayStation. The game is a representative of the genre of automotive rollers. The title was developed by SingleTrac studio led by David Jaffe, which cooperated with Sony Computer Entertainment America. The developer is also known for such classic games as WarHawk, Jet Moto or Outwars.

The action of the title presents the events taking place during the title competition, in which drivers compete in armed vehicles, competing with each other to death and life. Calypso, the organizer of this brutal tournament, announces the winner's prize, which is ... whatever the soul of the winner desires. There are 15 best participants from all over the world, who go to several selected cities, starting from Los Angeles and New York, through Paris and Moscow, and ending in Hong Kong.
