TwinBee is a refreshed version of a classic two-dimensional shooter produced in the mid 1980s by Konami. Players control a bird's-eye ship as they try to destroy all enemies on a board that moves from top to bottom. In an effort to be consistent with the original, developers decided to make changes to the game's audio-visual setting, adapting it to the capabilities of the Nintendo 3DS console, including its three-dimensional display.
Twinbee Description
Prepared by Konami remake Twinbee, a 2D shooter, which was released on the Japanese market in 1985. The title has been adapted to today's standards through improved audio-visual output.
The game system does not differ from other systems used in similar productions. Players steer a bird's eye view ship that moves up the screen. The goal is to destroy all enemies on the board, defeat the boss and survive a storm of missiles. Both flying vehicles and ground targets, which have to be eliminated with bombs, stand in the way of the ship. Twinbee differs from other shumps in the way it collects additional weapons. Items must be hit with missiles in order not to let them disappear from the board. At the same time, you can change them in such a way that you can select and catch the most needed at a given moment.
Compared to the original, the game uses the 3D effect and has an improved audiovisual setting. Fans of the first Twinbee can recognize characteristics such as familiar songs on the soundtrack, opponent and board designs.
