Turbo Soccer VR is a football simulator developed by the Polish studio DoDo4Story. The game shows 3D graphics and gameplay in a virtual reality environment. The ambassador of the game is a football player of the Polish national team Kamil Grosicki.
The first-player game with the possibility of taking part in historical actions, which have been reconstructed for the needs of Turbo Soccer VR, are the hallmarks of this title. The game was created for virtual reality goggles and hand and foot motion controllers.
Mechanics
We watch the game from the perspective of the first person, leading during the game one character who, depending on the selected mode, occupies different positions on the pitch. It is possible to play the role of a goalkeeper, striker or midfielder, whose accurate passes and throws determine the success of the next action.
The game allows you to play in the virtual reality of random situations, but also actions that took place in the real world. We can play the best players in the most critical moments of important matches.
Game modes
Turbo Soccer VR only allows you to play one-player games. We have at our disposal three game modes, each of which allows you to join the game in a different role.
In goalkeeper mode our goal is to successfully play sub-grade situations in order to score a goal for the opposing team. Further challenges are diverse and increasingly difficult. The level of goalkeeper and defenders increases with our progress. Contrast is the goalkeeper mode, which allows you to play as the only man standing between the opposing team's attackers and your own goal.
An unusual kind of fun is the replay mode, which allows you to take part in actions from the real world played for the purpose of goalkeeping games. After watching the exact repetition of the action, we move to the virtual field, where we can try our own strength in such a situation.
Technical aspects
The game has been adapted to the use of virtual reality glasses and hand and foot motion controllers and trackers. Thanks to this technology, when playing Turbo Soccer VR, we can precisely kick, catch or bounce the ball, as well as freely look around the pitch.
