Transformers Prime: The Game is a Now Production development studio's third person perspective action game (TPP), based on the theme of a popular animated series. Players direct the actions of their favorite Autobots, which must protect the inhabitants of the Earth from the dangerous Deceptikon leader - Megatron and his new, secret weapon. The game combines elements of "walking" fighting and skill races.

Transformers Prime: The Game, released on Wii, WiiU, DS and 3DS, was developed by Now Production.

In 2010, the animated series Transformers: Prime appeared on TV screens. The work of Hasbro Studios' filmmakers was very well received by young viewers, which resulted in the next season. At the same time, Activision expressed its interest in releasing the game based on the cartoon. The development was entrusted to the Japanese development studio Now Production, which has titles such as Bakugan: Defenders of the Core and We Love Katamari (the exception is the version for Nintendo DS, which was developed by Altron).
