Train Frontier Express is a relatively light rail simulation created by Team Train Frontier's two-person development team. The player has the opportunity to sit in the driver's cab and drive one of several types of trains on ready-made or hand-designed routes. The game is characterized by a simple, slightly cartoon visual setting and intuitive control system.

Train Frontier is a landscape building and train riding good time. Unlike complicated simulations, Train Frontier is both stylized and friendly, taking inspiration from model train sets.
