Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Rouge Spear: Urban Operations is an extension to the 1999 tactical shootout under the name of a well-known writer, created by Red Storm developers. The plugin contains, among other things, a package of new missions for single player mode, as well as new maps for online games.

Urban Operations is an expansion pack for the popular tactical action game, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Rogue Spear, that presents operations of well-trained antiterrorist units. It introduces patches that eliminate annoying bugs of the original game, a number of new single player missions, as well as new maps for the multiplayer mode.
All missions are set in places that haunt antiterrorist in their nightmares – densely-populated urban areas where bullets might hit innocent civilians and terrorist can easily hide. The action takes place in Mexico City, the London tube, the streets of Istanbul, and a Hong Kong hotel. They are characterized by high difficulty level and unique playability.
