Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X.

Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X. is an arcade flight game, signed with the name of a famous American thriller writer. In the game you sit behind steering wheels of modern fighters and engage in aerial battles. This was developed by a Romanian branch of Ubisoft Studios set in Bucharest. The team includes people who worked on a popular series Blazing Angels –very similar to H.A.W.X., in terms of gameplay, although set in World War II.

The story of H.A.W.X. starts in 2012, when private military corporations (PMC) are becoming more and more significant. Their growing power threatens world with a great international armed conflict. A perfect time is coming to take your place as a fighter pilot and step into action.

The developers introduced a so-called Enhanced Reality System (ERS). Thanks to this you can see the trajectory of missiles launched, check out a tactical map, and get informed about incoming missiles. It also lets you control damage to your plane, detect radar stations, as well as give out orders to you wingmen. All this is integrated into the on-board computer of each of over 50 airplanes available in the game.

Apart from single player, Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X features multiplayer gameplay. It includes cooperation for up to 4 players, which you can join at any moment. This way you can play through the entire campaign. Another multiplayer game mode is aerial battles for up to 16 pilots. Here you earn experience points and money for various upgrades.
