To End All Wars is an FPP war shooter developed by Sheffield branch of Kuju Entertainment (currently Chemistry; creators of Sensible Soccer 2006 and Pilot Academy). The scenario of the game refers to the First World War, which used to be called "the war to end all wars".

There are not many FPS games taking on this topic, but the devs from Chemistry have made a effort to make sure their title is the best there is in this category. They had a lot of predispositions for that - the change of name and the separation from the Kuju brand was caused by the strict specialization of the Sheffield branch, which since then is to deal exclusively with developing Unreal Engine 3 games for 7th-gen consoles. This engine is also powering To End All Wars, which resulted in decent visuals and made it possible to maintain a high level of realism during the battles, taking into account the most characteristic features of the battles fought during World War I. The devs put a lot of heart into modeling the game world - each location is rich in details and designed with great concern for historical realities. The same applies to the available weapons and uniforms of the soldiers in the game, which include the most important models of weapons and patterns of uniforms used in the war.

However, the most basic attributes of FPS games have not been neglected either. There are many different missions awaiting us, during which we participate in various combat activities. The players will defend their trenches to the last drop of blood, to venture into no-man's land under the cover of night, to charge heavily defended fortifications of the enemy, and to pray for survival under heavy artillery shelling. The scriptwriters tried to include the most characteristic motifs of the European theatre of warfare during the single-player campaign and to show the enormous tactical and technological progress that took place during the conflict in question.
