Titan Siege is an MMORPG game developed by GamesCo. The PC release of the game features a free-to-play model with micro transactions.
Plot
The story in Titan Siege is set in a fantastical world, where the elements of Norse, Greek, and Egyptian mythologies blend together to create a unique setting. The realm has become a battlefield, on which two factions of Titans wage war against each other. Humanity decided to take matters in their own hands and declared a war themselves, with a goal to put an end to the chaos caused by Titans’ war. Human armies are led by heroes – who in turn are controlled by the players.
Mechanics
Players begin their experience with the game by creating their own character and selecting his / her sex and appearance. There are 5 character classes to choose from – Warrior, Mage, Voodoo Elementalist and Assassin – all diversified in terms of battle skills and armament. The PC release of Titan Siege delivers an open-world location structure; however players begin their adventure on a small patch of land – as the story progresses, players get to explore more and more locations.
In accordance with the game’s convention, the mechanics are based on exploration, completing quests assigned by NPCs, fighting encountered foes (including overgrown and powerful bosses), and upgrading skills of the controlled character. During the game, our hero gains experience points and reaches consecutive levels, simultaneously unlocking more powerful and advanced abilities. The main protagonist’s battle potential can be increased by collecting items, scrolls and pieces of armor. In order to travel faster, one can obtain a mount (apart from horses, the game features flying beasts among others), but also there is a chance to get a pet, which can aid us in battle along with other friendly players.
Game modes
Titan Siege builds on the PvP mode – encountered players can attack us at any time, and take our inventory if they win (luckily, this also works the other way around). Nonetheless, the game also has the aforementioned PvE elements.
Technical aspects
The 3D visuals in the PC release of Titan Siege does not shine. The surroundings are poor on details, similarly to character models and their mythical opponents.
