Tiny Token Empires is a turn-based strategy produced by BiP Media studio, in which the combat system is based on solutions from casual logical games like Bejeweled. Players take control of one of the ancient empires and try to conquer the entire Mediterranean basin.

Tiny Token Empires is an unusual mix of turn-based strategy and puzzle game set in ancient times. This is the production of the French team BiP Media. The game was originally released on mobile devices and was then upgraded to other platforms.

The action takes place in the Mediterranean, 200 years BC. A player can control one of the five ancient empires: Rome, Greece, Egypt, Persia and Carthage. Our responsibilities do not differ from the typical challenges posed by other strategies. We must establish and develop cities, recruit and train armies and conquer new territories. At the same time, however, Tiny Token Empires does not strive for realism and seriousness. Instead, it offers a humorous approach to the subject and presents a vision of antiquity full of eccentric deities, charming mythological creatures and legions of clowns.

The game takes place on a three-dimensional map, which is divided into 75 territories and each nation starts with one. The more territories a player controls, the faster his vault fills up. The map does not lack cities, which allow, among other things, to train new units and build boats. In addition to regular troops, we can also recruit heroes with powerful artifacts and special skills. The ultimate goal is to conquer the entire Mediterranean basin.

The empire is managed in turn-based mode. Battles are based on puzzle games. The basic rules are reminiscent of the Bejeweled series. The game takes place on 82 fields of boards with colourful symbols placed on them. Our task is to change them in places vertically and horizontally, thus creating systems composed of at least three identical symbols. A group constructed in this way disappears once and for all. A military element has been added to these typically casual mechanisms. Individual types of units that make up the army have their own symbols. Each combination of them strengthens the energy bar, which, when filled, allows you to attack enemy units.

Tiny Token Empires offers five campaigns (one for each nation) and four different play modes that can be played both alone and with friends. The authors have also prepared three levels of difficulty and a simple but attractive graphic design, which is maintained in a humorous cartoon style.
