tiny & Tall: Gleipnir Description
Tiny & Tall: Gleipnir is a point-and-click adventure game developed by indie one-man company t&T Studios and published by Plug In Digital. The production is an adaptation of the comic titled Gleipnir, and it was also inspired by cult games by Lucas Arts.
Plot
tiny & Tall: Gleipnir is set in a world inspired by Norse mythology. The protagonists are the joyful and naive Tiny and the cowardly Tall. Those two friendly (but clumsy) smiths are given a task by the Aesir (the greatest gods of the Norse pantheon)—they have to create a rope strong enough to bind Fenrir, a wolf so strong that when he opens his maw, his upper jaw touches the sky, while his lower jaw touches the earth. Unfortunately for the protagonists, Loki, Fenrir's father, learns of their mission and does everything he can to stop them.
Mechanics
tiny & Tall: Gleipnir utilizes a side view. The gameplay is typical for this genre: you visit over 50 fantastical locations, talks to NPCs, and solve puzzles, usually involving searching for items and using them. The game also features a distinct sense of humor. Moreover, if you struggle with a given puzzle, you can use the hint system.
Technical aspects
tiny & Tall: Gleipnir featured interesting cartoonish 2D visuals and an atmospheric soundtrack.
