Tintin Reporter: Cigars of the Pharaoh is an adventure game based on The Adventures of Tintin, an iconic comic book series by Georges Remi, a Belgian artist also known as Hergé. It was developed by Pendulo Studios (also known for Blacksad: Under the Skin and Alfred Hitchcock: Vertigo) and published by Microids.
Plot
Tintin Reporter: Cigars of the Pharaoh stars the titular reporter, Tintin, and his faithful dog Snowy. Meeting the Egyptologist Sophocles Sarcophagus inspired him to cross the Mediterranean Sea to explore the tomb of an Egyptian pharaoh, Kih-Oskh. Seeking its secrets, Tintin and Snowy end up not only in Egypt, but also in the Far East.
Mechanics
Tintin Reporter: Cigars of the Pharaoh is a classic adventure game. The player must explore various areas, meet many different characters, talk and solve puzzles. The game makes use of pre-set, cinematic camera angles.
Technical aspects
Tintin Reporter: Cigars of the Pharaoh's artstyle only loosely resembles the original comic book, being more reminiscent of the 2011 movie.

Tintin Game Announced
Publisher and developed of video games Microids (responsible for the Siberia series, among others) announced the beginning of cooperation with Moulinsart, thanks to which a game about the adventures of the famous reporter and traveller Tintin will be created. The game's title, release date and other details are not yet known.
