Time Stand Still is the third installment (after Remedy and Hope Springs Eternal) from a series of adventure games, in which we play the role of a young lady detective Carol Reed, an English woman living permanently in Sweden. While browsing the local newspaper, our heroine encounters another matter - a mysterious, seemingly haunted house, arouses her interest. Carol quickly realizes that this property, apart from its intriguing past, hides truly criminal secrets from the Second World War, connected with a mysterious murder and a Nazi scientist.

Time Stand Still gameplay, like other classic adventure games, involves exploring and exploring different locations, collecting different objects and tips, interviewing characters and solving detective puzzles. Like the previous versions of the cycle, this part has been equipped with a classic point and click interface, and the main character's actions are observed from the first person's perspective. Again, the graphic design consists of numerous photographs of real locations, and again the program does not contain scenes of violence or vulgar language, making it ideal for young players (from the age of 11). It is also worth mentioning that the game does not have any arcade elements and tasks "on time", which will surely appeal to all ardent fans of classic adventures.
