Real-time strategy for online gaming. Time of Defiance" is set on the planet Nespanon, around which small islands drift. The basic task the player has to face is to gradually colonize them.

Time of Defiance is an online-only massively multiplayer real-time strategy game set across the huge landscape of a shattered world. Fight for conquest of the islands and mine their mineral wealth to expand your empire.

Every other empire you encounter is another human playing online and will remember the deals you didn't deliver on and the promises you broke. Treachery, propaganda and trade are just as important as your fighting strategy. Have you got what it takes to unite the Cog tribes under one ruler?

Your remote outposts in the north have detected enemy troop movement, but your closest fleet is over a day's travel away. The enemy fleet is within striking range of a valuable resource mine that is key to your economic wealth, and you don't have the forces to defend it. Your northern neighbor is friendly but wont help out against this enemy, and the problems you are having with your neighbor in the south are tying up a lot of your ships. You need to mobilize fast and in strength. Maybe you can turn others against this enemy with propaganda, maybe you can reason with him. Maybe you'll just have to trade with the Eighth House and pay to send your fleet of motherships a couple of hundred kilometers beyond the threat and hit him where it hurts...
