Time Crisis 4 is the next shooting of the series, started in 1997 and coming from coin-op machines. This game, like its predecessors, uses a special Guncon pistol. Not only does it allow you to shoot at specific targets, but with two analog knobs you can also change the camera setting and select the shooting mode, among other things.

In classic gameplay mode, representing the rail shooter genre, we have limited control over the main characters (Giorgio Bruno and Evan Bernard). Protagonists, who are following terrorists and black market arms dealers, have to complete a series of missions consisting solely of shooting and performing simple actions such as hiding behind obstacles - the rest happens automatically. In the all-new FPS mode, William Rush is in control of the character, who has a similar task to his colleagues, i.e. to eliminate all the enemies he encounters. However, this option gives us full control over the hero's actions in five storyline episodes.
