A puzzle game in which the player's task is to clear the board of a certain number of falling blocks. Rotate the arrows on them so as to connect at least three blocks of the same colour with a beam of energy.

Tidalis is a simple puzzle game designed for casual players, but thanks to a huge variety of challenges it also provides a large portion of gameplay for more advanced users. The main task of the player in Adventure mode is to clear successive boards from a certain number of falling blocks. Each of them has an arrow drawn. To remove individual blocks, rotate them in such a way that a fired beam of energy moving in the direction indicated connects at least three squares of the same colour, not necessarily adjacent to each other.

In order to diversify the game, the creators have prepared several special blocks that significantly influence the course of the game. Amongst these is for example a block which "devours" objects encountered on its path, or which freezes neighbouring fields. While exploring the main adventure thread, the player has to struggle with a certain time limit, and in return for achieving the goal, the player receives special items and can learn more about the story presented in the form of static graphics.
