Thorium Wars Description
Thorium Wars is a dynamic shooting, in which we use various means of transport to mass extermination of enemy forces. This product is the work of Big John Games, a studio specializing in creating games for a casual audience. Thorium Wars is designed exclusively for DSiWare network clients.
The action of the game takes place on the title planet Thorium, in many ways referring to the appearance of the Earth. The inhabitants of Thorium succeeded in discovering and taming a powerful source of energy, but the machines built using new technology turned against their creators. The right struggle begins when the Thorians are on the verge of extinction, leading to an uneven fight with the opponent.
The single player campaign consists of twelve main missions, including desert areas, among the ruins of metropolises that used to be vibrant until recently, in vast water bodies and even in space. During the game we use many interesting means of transport to eliminate enemy machines, including heavily armored tanks, rovers, hovercraft, patrol boats, fighters and spacecraft. Various types of rebellious machines stand in our way. These are both tiny reconnaissance drones as well as powerful mosses, the elimination of which causes more trouble.
Subsequent battles are fought in a fully three-dimensional environment, which is displayed on the top screen of the console. The lower screen is used to show a map on which the positions of allies and enemies are marked, as well as the places to which we have to go.
