There is Only WAR! is an old-fashioned, extremely colorful arcade game, maintained in a classic, arcade style. Created by Team 57, the program is characterized by a large dose of parody humour and a fast, uninterrupted action - what could be expected from the title in a way. The implementation of the adopted convention was facilitated by colourful, animated graphic design with relatively low hardware requirements, but with very high speed and smooth operation.

It is worth noting the free approach to the subject - the player sits at the helm of a miniature, bizarrely designed pseudo circle, but does not fight the bloodthirsty taboons of strangers or crazy terrorists. Against us stand legions of seemingly harmless, but in reality crafty and often armed to the teeth (with lasers, bombs, rocket launchers, etc.) animals, divided into four basic species. Depending on our tastes, we support cats, frogs, chickens or moles, and then we start a regular slaughterhouse in one of the four available campaigns, consisting of a total of 20 expanded missions. Our vehicle is not defenseless, of course, in addition to standard armament can be equipped with more than twenty different types of bonuses and accessories (both classic and slightly more original or strangely familiar, such as monstrous size bombs, triple missiles, tankality, destructality), some of which may cause undesirable side effects. Moreover, we can take advantage of an even freer free mode, in which we neutralize the opposition of all ointments without any restrictions.

At first glance you can already see a considerable reserve of authors for the modern computer games market and nostalgia for the time when it was not necessary to make an effort for a twisted scenario or to create a violent, terrifying world presented to gain the favor of the players and criticism. There is Only WAR! we see a return to the roots of the arcade genre - playability, dynamics and simple rules are the most important features of the discussed position. Despite the slightly different character of the game, the convention adopted very much resembles the style of the Worms series, especially its three-dimensional versions. This is also confirmed by the emphasis on multiplayer mode. The authors have added full support for the global ranking system to the standard network via the Internet or LAN.

Graphic engine, although certainly not very modern, can cope with a spectacular visual message and is responsible for various types of weather effects (sun, fog, rain and snow, night battles), which of course have an impact on the game. In the background we are played by an energetic, but quite nice soundtrack, additionally motivating to destruction.
