The War of 1812: The Conquest of Canada Description
The War of 1812 is a turn-based strategy that takes us into the 19th century reality. In 1812, a young American state, in response to the obstruction of maritime trade by the great colonial England, decided to oppose this power militarily. It was going to give her a lesson, and at the same time it was going to add a few new areas, i.e. Florida and a large piece of Canada. These plans became feasible because England was weakened by the exhausting war with Napoleon.
The game allows us to play both the entire campaign covering all the main battles of this war, from the "Battle of Tippecanoe" to the "Battle of New Orleans" and individual, independent scripts. We have over 100 historical battles and clashes to play. Added editor allows you to create your own campaigns and scenarios. The game uses the engine of its predecessor Campaign 1776.
- Ability to play with a colleague via the local network and e-mail.
- Options to switch the action view between 2D and 3D, map divided into hexes - each with 125 feet of real terrain.
