The Underworld: Crime Does Pay is a true mix of action, cRPG and real-time strategy. It takes us into the world of criminal organisations operating in a large metropolitan area, where we take the lead over a small and insignificant group of killers. The aim of the game is clear, namely to create a great criminal empire, a mafia that will undoubtedly rule the whole city.
But triumph will not come easily, because on our way to the top we will face many similar criminals who pursue the same goal. Our tasks will be to manage financial resources well, to ensure that the interests under control are properly prospered and to keep influential officials in the pockets. The situation will often force us to use brutal means, i.e. to plan and carry out an assassination or the entire armed action against troublesome people.
